Personality: Mira has become a somewhat cold, distant person who will place herself first and others second. She has a curious and adventurous nature but stand in her way and she will kill you, once she might have thrown herself in front of a horse to save some one but now she would be the one on the horse. She hates the way the world is and wants to create a world where she can do what she want, when she what, where she want. Mira is a very lonely person, she is the last of her kind unchanged and can’t find anyone who feels her pain. She cries herself to sleep on night when she remembers black reach and the pain she suffered. But mostly she is a very determent woman who will stop at nothing to complete her goals.
History: Mira is a Falmer, a snow elf, one of the last of her kind. The reason she is here in this day and age is because of the god Akatosh, The reason why he saved her happened long ago... Many moons ago Mira was born on a clear night, the full moon blest her birth. She was born in a secret temple to Auri-El or Akatosh as he’s know today, her family had watched the temple for generations. But she was born during a dark time, many of her people had been enslaved by the Dwemer and turned in to twisted forms of themselves. The temple was the last of its kind, the rest had been torn down for recourses by the Dwemer. The temple was a safe haven from the Dwemer, there lord Auri-Ei protected them with a barrier that kept them out but also kept Mira inside. Mira dreamed of the outside world, she had lived her whole life in the temple. Day in and day out she would train, pray, and mediate, Mira hated it! She wanted something more, but she was to become the next Arch-Curate of the temple and was to be given to Auri-El to be a faith brined. Meaning once the ceremony was complete she would never be able to leave the temple or find her own live. As years when on she accepted her faith till one day she was walking the halls of the temple when she came across a door, the door had never been there before she was sure of that so where had it come from? When she entered the room there was a bust of a Falmer, As she walked closer she saw an amulet around its neck. The amulet was beautiful, gold and silver with a gem in the center that gleamed like a star, Mira couldn’t help but put it on and when she did she heard a voice begun to echo around her.
“Child of the guardian hear my voice, you will go out and retrieve a blade. The blade is the treasure of the Dwemer, you will retrieve it and return to this place.” The vices sounded like it was coming from all around, it was nearly defining. “Who are you! Why do you ask of me this?” The vices return but sounded somewhat angry and sad at the same time. “I am the one who temple you protect, I am Auri-El god of light, I give you this mission to prove your faith. Now Go!” The final words shock the room, Mira fled in fear. She spoke to the Arch-Curate and he said that he mission was true and that she must do as there lord says. Mira was bright to the edge of the barrier and the Arch-Curate spoke. “Grate lord Auri-El! Open a path so your servant may complete the task you have given her!” The barrier fall and once more a vice echoed from the amulet.
“Hear me once more! My shield of light will remain open until the child returns with the blade, this is my will!” Mira felt a mix’s of happiness and worry, she was happy she was finally leaving the temple but if she defied Auri-El her people would be in danger. She turned to the Arch-Curate once more. “I wish to see the world but I do not wish to see harm come to any of you because of me. What should I do!” The Arch-Curate gave her a worm smile as said. “Dear child, the gods of given you a task that you must complete. Believe in Auri-El and we will believe in you.” Mira thanked him and said her good bye as she entered the wilds that would one day become skyrim…
Her journey was long and hard, three years when by as she searched for the blade. She ventured deep in to black reach to find the blade but whenever she would come close to finding it location, it would be taken from under her nose. As time when on she begun to lose faith that the blade even existed, and eventually lost faith in Auir-El all together. Her fears where sealed when she was caught by the Dwemer and turned in to a slave, more years past as she worked and tolled like most of her people. Every day she would suffer alongside her people and everyday she became more angry with her so called lord! She came to hate him, believing that he had sent her on the mission only to make her suffer. Finally she had had enough! She talked with the elders of the slaves and heard of the Daedric god Hircine, he would grain the form of a great beast to those who could prove them self’s as grate hunters. So she came up with a plain, She acted out till the Dwemer throw her to the beast of black reach, a huge cave troll. She fought and killed the beast the prayed out to Hircine, He appeared before her.
“You have taken down a great beast, an uneasy task for one of the snow.” Mira cried out to him. “Hircine! Grate me you blessing and power! Give me the form of the beast so that I may hunt down a kill those who have bright pain and misery to my people!” The Daedric laughed and spoke in a heated tone. “Why do you not ask you god for help!” Mira eyes burn with hatred. “He is no god of mine! I pray and he does not answer! I hunt and you answer! You are the only God I see!” Hircine grinned with a dark smile. “I hear you wish hunter and grant you my power, Now go forth and live for the hunt!” the blood of the troll begun to swirl around Mira feet and in to her body, as it did she could feel the power growing inside her as the spirit of the beast awoke.
Mira became a great white werewolf and escaped the prison of black reach but not before she took what she came for. In the years she had suffered she had come to learn the location of the blade, in was at the heart of black reach in the deepest tunnel. It was guarded by the one who created it, the forge master in the belly of the Atherin forge. When she arrived she met the Forge master, he was a Dwemer clad in the body of a Dwarven Centurion. Mira fought the Forge master and badly wounded him, she took the blade that was mounted on the forge. IT was a beautiful blade made of pure Aetherin crafted in such a way that the very air shock when she swung it. Now, Now she had the power to stand agented the Dwemer, Auir-El an, anyone who stood in her way to set her people free. She left the darkness of black reach and returned to the temple but she was too late, the temple was buried in snow and ice and her family, everyone she love was either dead or frozen in ice. She stood in front of the Statue of Auri-El and called to him.
“BETRAYER! Show yourself!” Auir-El took form in the statue and spoke. “I am no betrayer, you lost your faith and it is your fault that this holey ground now stands in ruin.” Mira was burning with anger, every fiber of her being cursed Auri-El. “You left your people to suffer! I say no More!” Mira attempted to strike at the statue with the Aetherin blade but as she rose it above her head a burning light shot for the eye of the State, Mira’s body turned to stone and as the darkness began to consume her Auri-El spoke on last time. “Dear child, you have lost you way and have fallen to the darkness. But you have completed your task, you have bright the blade so I will show you mercy. You will remain as the guardian of this temple till times end, my you one day find peace.” It seemed like an eternity to Mira as she waited in the darkness, unable to tell night from day, mouth or year.
Mira not sure how long she had been in the darkness but the day the light returned she remembers. On that day she was doing the same thing she had been doing for who knows how long, planning her revenge on Auri-El when a crack appeared in the darkness. She struggled and after some work the stone fell off and the light bathed her body. She ripped off her armor and cloth and let its warmth wrap around her. After her body wormed up she looked around, the temple was still in ruin and something felt wrong…! The blade! The blade was missing! Mira searched but it was nowhere to be found, someone or something must of taken it while she was imprisoned in stone. She needed that blade, without it all her planes where nothing! Mira made a pledge to herself that day, First she would find the blade, then she would kill Auri-El!
When Mira finally made it out of the valley she was surprised to see the world had changed so much, the forested tundra she had known now was a wormer barren plane. In the distances she could see… A town! It was a town on the surface! But the dragon’s that ruled the skis would never let the people get that fair so what had happened while she was stone? Mira snuck into the town witch filled with more people then she had ever seen, even in the temple there where only about 10 of them.. And the people themselves! All different kinds of races walked the streets, She saw a human, a walking lizard, and a cat as big as a person! The world had definitely changed , but what was worse was so had the language. She tried to talk to people but no one could understand her till she met one that looked like a mage. When she spoke to him a light appeared in his eye.
“My girl, that’s Falmer! Ancient falmer! Where did you learn to speak like that… My word. Your!” He was speaking but she couldn’t understand him, it seemed after a while he could tell so he pulled out a book and wrought something down then showed it to Mira. She could understand it! Just barely but it was good enough, Mira took the book and wrought back asking what year it was. The answer was devastating, 3, 3 eras she had been sealed in stone. She nearly fell over but the man caught her, he told her his name was Calcelmo and that she could stay with him. She followed him back to a city called Markarth where he taught her how to speak the new language and in return she helped him in his research of the Flamer ways.
Once she learned to speak to people she asked him if he had ever heard of a weapon made of Aetherin. Calcelmo ran throw his book till he found an picture of an old painting, he showed it to her and there it was! The Aetherin blade! Its last know location was somewhere in skyrim but that was all, she thanked Calcelmo and left to find the blade. Mira would stop at nothing till the blade was back in her hands…
